Maxine Melrose 1932-2014

Passed away peacefully at the Wales Home in Richmond QC. Beloved wife of the late Walter
McCrea.

Loving and devoted mother to Allan (Louise Turcotte), Linda (Jean-Claude Bertrand), Melanie,
Charles (Ghislaine Dion), Elaine (Francis Côté), Mark (Ann Maurice) and Nana to sixteen
grandchildren and sixteen (and counting) great-grandchildren.

Lovingly remembered by her sister Rena (Jim Rediker) of Kerrville Texas as well as the Rediker and
Egan nieces. She will also be missed by her great nieces and nephews, cousins and many close
friends and neighbours.

Maxine's family wishes to thank all those whose visits, cards and musical entertainment at the
Wales Home over the past years brought her great pleasure. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful
caring staff at the Wales Home who treated her like family.

After resting at the IOOF Hall, Inverness on Sunday, October 26 (visitation 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm),
and Monday morning October 27 (visitation from 9-10:30) followed by funeral at St. Andrew's
Church at 11 a.m. and internment at Boutelle's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her
memory to the Wales Home Foundation or to a charity of your choice would be gratefully
appreciated.
